The conference “Supporting National Production and Iranian Goods; Reviewing Programs and Policy Documents” was held on Thursday, July 2018 by the Institute of Humanities and Cultural Studies. Some papers were presented by TSI researchers from Knowledge-based Economy Group.
The conference "Supporting National production and Iranian Goods: Reviewing Programs and Policy Documents" was held on thursday, July 2018, by the Institute of Humanities and Cultural Studies. Some papers were presented by TSI researchers from knowledge-based economy group. The conference ended with 10 selected paper, technical lectures and panel discussions on support for national production. Two of the selected papers were presented by TSI knowledge-based economy group rsearchers. Dr. Abujafari, and Dr. Rahimi Nasab presented two papers entitled "Analyzing the Challenges of Iran's Toy Industry; Phenomenological Studies." It is necessary to mention that, this paper is extracted from scientific achievements of a project entitled "Constructing and Developing the Statistical System of Cultural Industries with an Emphasis on Innovative and Knowledge-based Approach
This paper using the phenomenological method, interviews with 21 policy makers, managers and economic activists of toy industry, analyzes the challenges of toy industry in Iran. The findings of this research indicate that, the challenges of this industry in Iran include: Weaknesses in cultural, legal, manufacturing, and commercial infrastructures. Each of these challneges includes some elements that illustrate the weaknesses of toy industry in Iran
